===== The Fleckstone Filter ===== ===== The Fleckstone Filter =====
 >Fleckstone filters are specific apparatus designed to separate special materials from the rock around them. While they can produce amounts of specialist materials, the small scale required to upkeep them kept them a specialist tool only for individual artisans, rather than use in large-scale mining operations. Except for rare circumstances, the materials produced have an individually important value to the person who created the device. They have more personal utility, than as a commercial endeavour. >Fleckstone filters are specific apparatus designed to separate special materials from the rock around them.  +===== Goblins ponder the cause of their Goblin Dog being treated =====
+If players were to stealthily come up to the goblin village, they would encounter this conversation between the goblins Oolywere and Wocky, in which they discuss the possible causes of their Goblin dog, Grahn, receiving medical treatment.
 +
+>**Oolywere**: But they close by, they know their brother sick, they upset by it!
+>**Wocky**:  That meat were cooked! You telling me growlies went get meat, and sneak into village to cook it? It must be gods who did that, they make cooked meat in blink!
+>**Oolywere**: Gods can, but when last time do change for us? I telling you Wocky, there have be natural explanation!
+>**Wocky**: Well, how you explain magic cloth and sap? Growlies not know magic!
+>**Oolywere:** When they come back from escape, we look at them. They may have glitter or things. Then we know!

 +===== Musical Battle =====
+While [[westward:characters:Kesil Cailean|Kesil]], [[westward:characters:Korlan Ferreira|Korlan]] and [[westward:characters:Zaffre Avalon|Zaffre]] were transporting a cow to the //[[westward:locations:The Crooked Eagle]]// for Galus, they walked through and thus interrupted some bards performing. This displeased the bards, and once Korlan insulted their performance, they challenged Korlan and Zaffre to a musical battle. Accepting the battle, the NPC bards performed the following song:
 +
 +
+>Of all of the sounds that I've heard today,
+>The crowd as they chatter and shoes on the clay,
+><del>The rustle of leaves from the trees as they sway,</del>
+>They are all better songs than what I've heard you play.
 +>
+>What you did that day showed the black in your heart,
+>You disrupted the crowd and you only laughed,
+>You've got no respect for what you call your craft.
 +>
+>My music spills forth from a family tradition,
+>Things handed down; not your selfish ambition,
+>Your boast simply shows off your shallow position.
 +>
+>Your gamble of wits does not seem much your type,
+>If you like to win then you heed this advice,
+>You would lose a lot less staying home rolling dice.
 +>
+>Your passion is fine if you're playing for pleasure,
+>But I'm here all day no matter the weather,
+>If you're chasing my tail you will have to do better.
 +>
+>(If the NPC bards perform particularly poorly)
+>You keep saying your playing is good and successful
 +>But I think it's actually quite misererable
+>And you're also too short to sing a good treble
