 +===== Musical Battle =====
+While [[westward:characters:Kesil Cailean|Kesil]], [[westward:characters:Korlan Ferreira|Korlan]] and [[westward:characters:Zaffre Avalon|Zaffre]] were transporting a cow to the //[[westward:locations:The Crooked Eagle]]// for Galus, they walked through and thus interrupted some bards performing. This displeased the bards, and once Korlan insulted their performance, they challenged Korlan and Zaffre to a musical battle. Accepting the battle, the NPC bards performed the following song:
 +
 +
+>Of all of the sounds that I've heard today,
+>The crowd as they chatter and shoes on the clay,
+><del>The rustle of leaves from the trees as they sway,</del>
+>They are all better songs than what I've heard you play.
 +>
+>What you did that day showed the black in your heart,
+>You disrupted the crowd and you only laughed,
+>You've got no respect for what you call your craft.
 +>
+>My music spills forth from a family tradition,
+>Things handed down; not your selfish ambition,
+>Your boast simply shows off your shallow position.
 +>
+>Your gamble of wits does not seem much your type,
+>If you like to win then you heed this advice,
+>You would lose a lot less staying home rolling dice.
 +>
+>Your passion is fine if you're playing for pleasure,
+>But I'm here all day no matter the weather,
+>If you're chasing my tail you will have to do better.
 +>
+>(If the NPC bards perform particularly poorly)
+>You keep saying your playing is good and successful
 +>But I think it's actually quite misererable
+>And you're also too short to sing a good treble
